The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, October 7 reveals Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will argue with the voice in his head.
Also coming up, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will have a surprise for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Plus, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will tell Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to behave. And Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will argue with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
Y&R spoilers tease Audra and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will tell Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy they have news. “Apparently there’s this nasty 24 hour stomach bug going around,” Audra will add. So their Marchetti peeps can’t make it to the bachelorette bash.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Audra Tells Sally She’ll Deal With Adam And Billy
Billy will take off, saying he has somewhere to be. However, as he exits through the patio, he’ll run into Adam, who will say he’s coming to the wedding and just wants to make sure things won’t be weird between them. “It’s too late for that Adam,” Billy will reply.
Adam will say all they have to do is act like adults. But they’ll start arguing, their voices raised, Sally will get up to stop them but Audra will say no, she’ll deal with the two idiots. She’ll tell them to stop and sit. “What the hell?!” she’ll ask them. “You both owe Sally the best day of her life. If either one of you does anything to ruin her day, I will come for you.”
At the Abbott estate, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will prepare for Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) bachelorette party. Diane will ask where Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is and he’ll say he’s out getting supplies. “I hope those supplies don’t include an exotic dancer and a set of tassels,” Diane will quip.
However, Jack will say not a chance. The doorbell will ring and Diane will walk over. She’ll open the door and see Nikki standing there. “I thought you said there weren’t going to be any strippers,” she’ll say to Jack. He’ll get a call and Diane will ask if it’s possible for there to just be one day when she isn’t on her doorstep. “This battle, you and me, it’s on,” Nikki will reply. “The thought of taking you down, I find that very exhilarating.”
But Diane will say it’s impressive Nikki thinks she can beat Jabot. She’ll play nice when Jack returns but then head out to meet Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc). She’ll tell him she’s about to go into battle with Nikki over Vibrante. Michael will say going to war behind Jack’s back is a bad idea. Then Diane will get stomach pains and realize she can’t go to the bachelorette party.
As for Matt, he’ll once again check into the Riverbank Motel. He’ll wonder if he should call Phyllis and also warn people that Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) has escaped. Matt will grab the back of his head and grimace in pain. “Or maybe, ” he’ll say to himself. “I should do none of those things.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Nick Gets Ambushed By His Two Ex-Wives
His evil inner voice will tell him everybody got exactly what they deserved. “You are weak, you are pathetic.” But Matt will say kindness can be a strength. “I wanna be the guy that Phyllis can trust. I wanna be free from violence.” But his bad side will tell him he has no choice. “You are who you are!” Matt will shout, pointing at himself in the mirror. “Who you will always be!”
Meanwhile, Sharon will call Phyllis and say she’s worried about Nick and ask her to come over. There’ll be knock on the door and it’ll be Nick. He’ll tell her the place looks great and then Phyllis will arrive. Nick will say it feels like an ambush of the exes. But Sharon will say she invited Phyllis over before he showed up.
Phyllis will find out the woman in rehab OD’d again. “So you went after the dealer?” Nick will say she has no one. “I don’t care, the person I care about is you,” she’ll tell him. Phyllis will say she wishes Marie a full recovery. But a woman like that is the last thing he needs right now.
Sharon will ask if he should maybe consider checking himself back into rehab. But Phyllis will say no. “Stop being a hero, focus on your family and your career.” Then she’ll suggest the three of them go somewhere fun. “It’s a surprise.” They’ll end up at the GCAC and Phyllis will say the surprise is, she owns the GCAC.
Finally, Sharon, Nick and Phyllis won’t see Matt, as he strolls into the GCAC lobby. He’ll hide behind the staircase and watch the trio intently. But what does he plan to do?
